The Los Angeles Angels downed the Detroit Tigers, 10-5, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The Angels were led by Matthew Clark. Clark was 2 for 4 with 2 doubles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The second-place Angels hiked their record to 22-16.

Clark contributed a big hit, a 2-run double, for Los Angeles in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-1, Clark took a changeup from Reese Olson and stroked the double to left. His 6th double of the season allowed the Angels to leap in front, 3-2.
