The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Los Angeles Angels, 7-4, at PNC Park today. Leading the charge for Pittsburgh was catcher Endy Rodriguez. He went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winning pitcher was JT Brubaker. His record is now 4-1. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits for the Pirates. David Bednar closed the door for Pittsburgh, picking up his 8th save of the year.
