St. Lucie's Mellon Snags August Batting Title Thursday, September 1st , 2033 Torreahno Mellon may be much younger than other hitters in the Low-A Southeast, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in August to win the Batter of the Month award. The 22-year-old St. Lucie center fielder hit .330 with 10 home runs, 24 RBIs and 22 runs scored. To date this season Mellon is hitting .326 with 18 home runs. |
