Giants Drop Contest, 5-2, to Los Angeles
|
Behind the hitting of Andy Pages, the Los Angeles Dodgers stopped the San Francisco Giants, 5-2. Pages was 1 for 3 with a double and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Dodgers. Nick Frasso, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 4th save. The Giants drop to 11-16, as their stumbling start to the 2027 season continues.
Los Angeles grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Pages hit a 2-run double off Blake Snell. His 8th double of the season put the Dodgers out in front, 4-2.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Los Angeles skipper Dave Roberts.
