5-for-6 Day for Espinoza Saturday, September 1st , 2046 The San Francisco (DSL) Giants stopped the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers by a score of 9-2 at Las Palmas Complex, with the lion's share of the credit going to second baseman Eddie Espinoza. The 23-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Espinoza said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Espinoza did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Dodgers. "Not much that I can say," offered Los Angeles (DSL) manager Andre Lamontagne. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Eddie Espinoza singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Jeff Raeburn in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
