Rangers No Match for Monford, Twins in 12-0 Thumping Tuesday, August 22nd , 2045 In an outstanding mound performance, Minnesota (DSL) Twins starter Dave Monford fired a complete-game shutout against the Texas (DSL) Rangers at Baseball City Complex. Monford was the key to the 12-0 Minnesota (DSL) win. The 20-year-old right-hander was in high spirits for much of the game, his mood largely unfazed by the 5 hits and 1 walk he allowed. "5 hits?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter, as long as it was a shutout."
