Boma Picked WL Player of the Week Monday, August 28th , 2045 When it came to hitting the baseball, Kifle Boma was in a class by himself in the Western League this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding shortstop for Graaff-Reinet tagged opposing pitchers for a .429 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 homers, 6 runs scored and 8 RBIs. For the year, Boma has hit at a .273 clip with 55 RBIs, 22 home runs and 44 runs scored. |
