Cardinals Win Round 2 Wednesday, September 13th , 2045 The St. Louis (GCL) Cardinals have booked their place in the Round 3. By a score of 4-2, the club ousted the Houston (GCL) Astros in the Round 2 tonight at Roger Dean Stadium. St. Louis (GCL) won the series by a 4-2 margin. The series MVP was Cardinals starting pitcher Lou Nichol. For his part, the MVP said he is not putting too much stock in the individual honor and instead simply "looking forward to the next round." The St. Louis (GCL) Cardinals will play against the Detroit (GCL) Tigers in the next round. Detroit (GCL) won their series against the Atlanta (GCL) Braves 4 games to 2.
