Great August Gets Holm GCL Best Hitter Award Saturday, September 1st , 2040 Eric Holm has a lot going for him. The Miami (GCL) right fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the Gulf Coast Rookie League has just picked him as its top hitter for August. In 20 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .451 with 7 home runs, 21 RBIs and 17 runs scored. So far this year Holm has 13 home runs and a .393 batting average. |
