West Virginia Blanks Williamsport Behind Woolum Sunday, July 8th , 2046 Tommy Woolum of the West Virginia Black Bears toyed with the Williamsport Crosscutters, as he shut them out, 3-0, at Monongalia County Ballpark. He was almost untouchable, twirling a 6-hitter with 4 strikeouts and no walks. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Woolum said in the clubhouse after the game.
