Season Over for Dave Haught in Wilmington Saturday, May 19th , 2046 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Dave Haught of the Blue Rocks knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Myrtle Beach Pelicans while throwing a pitch. Because of a torn flexor tendon in his elbow, the Wilmington starting pitcher is expected to miss 7 months. Haught was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." On the year, Haught has worked 15.1 innings with 13 strikeouts en route to a 0-1 record and 4.70 ERA. |
