In a recent game against Rancho Cucamonga Quakes, 66ers reliever Omar Reid was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 11 months with a stretched elbow ligament. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Inland Empire skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. This year, Reid has made 38 relief appearances with 2 saves. In 36.2 innings, he has permitted 58 hits, fanned 32 hitters and recorded 2 wins and 1 loss with a 7.85 ERA. |
