Whatley Extends Hit Streak to 20 Games Wednesday, August 15th , 2046 Josiah Whatley went 1-for-4 in the 5-4 San Jose Giants victory over the Lancaster JetHawks at Excite Ballpark. Whatley declined to speak to reporters following the game. He extended his hitting streak to 20 games. Josiah Whatley grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, walked in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and struck out in the 8th. This season, Whatley is swinging the bat at a .310 rate with 88 hits in 284 at-bats. To date he has hit 7 home runs, scored 56 runs and driven in 34. |
