Corpus Christi's Donahue TEX #1 Batter in August Saturday, September 1st , 2046 Jim Donahue put together a good August to earn the Texas League Batter of the Month prize. A virtual unknown, he made the most of his chance to prove to Corpus Christi officials that he belongs on the big league roster. The Hooks right fielder posted a .339 batting average with 9 home runs, 27 RBIs and 30 runs scored. So far this year, Donahue has 16 home runs and a .317 batting average. |
