Hit Streak for Caldwell Reaches 20 Tuesday, April 24th , 2046 The hitting streak for Salt Lake left fielder Mike Caldwell now stands at 20 games, but the Bees dropped today's contest 2-1 to the Fresno Grizzlies. Caldwell went 1-for-3 in the game. "Things went well for me personally," he said. "I got 1 hit and the streak keeps going. But we didn't win the game." Mike Caldwell walked in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Dave Gall in the 5th and flied out in the 8th. So far this year, Caldwell is batting .519 with 3 home runs and 13 RBIs. |
