On a Roll: Dominguez Hits for Cycle
Saturday, August 18th , 2040
Jasson Dominguez showed off his speed, his power and his plate discipline today at Yankee Stadium, putting together all facets of his game to hit for the cycle in the New York win.

The 37-year-old center fielder went 5-for-6, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 2 home runs to help the Yankees top the Toronto Blue Jays by a score of 18-7. A jubilant Dominguez told reporters afterward that the experience was "unimaginable."

"Seriously, I would have been happy going 1-for-6 with just the double," he said. "So this feels incredible."

For the day, Dominguez finished with 3 RBI and 4 runs scored to go with his 5 hits.

Jasson Dominguez hit a solo-shot off William Zuniga in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, tripled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Tim McKay in the 8th and flied out in the 8th.

So far this season, Dominguez has recorded a .270 batting average with 123 hits, 41 home runs, 101 RBIs, 75 runs scored and a .352 OBP.
