Beakes Takes Best Bat Trophy in July Wednesday, August 1st , 2040 Even though he is a newcomer to Major League Baseball, Jeff Beakes put up some good numbers in July and earned the NL Batter of the Month award. He was one of Milwaukee's offensive leaders with a .449 average in 21 games. He also racked up 11 home runs, 24 RBIs, and 22 runs scored. In the current season, Beakes has put up a .305 batting average with 106 hits, 22 home runs, 50 runs batted in and scored 57 runs. |
