Wolfe Raps 3 Homers Against Senators Wednesday, March 23rd, 2022 Sometimes it just isn't enough. Chad Wolfe had an outstanding day at San Antonio College Fields for the iowa Western Reivers today, ripping three home runs. Nonetheless, the Reivers fell to the Walters State Senators, 21-18. Wolfe had a feast at the plate, pounding everything thrown his way. The 18-year-old center fielder banged out 3 hits in 5 at-bats, scored 3 times and batted in 8 runs. Despite his sensational performance, the Reivers were not able to hold off the Senators. "Baseball is a funny game," Wolfe said in the post-game interview, "You can't dwell on the reasons for the loss. I'm sure there will be days when I go 0-for-4 and we win. These things tend to even out." Chad Wolfe hit a GRAND SLAM off Victor Castro in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Luis Tyler Lemon in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Josh Kinman in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and walked in the 8th. Wolfe is currently hitting at a .391 pace with 5 home runs, 21 RBIs and has scored 15 times. |
