Bang-up Game: Salminen Slams 3 Homers Thursday, March 17th, 2022 Texas first baseman Mike Salminen led the Longhorns to a 22-10 triumph over the Oklahoma Sooners, crushing three home runs. "He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Texas skipper Jefferson Romero. Indeed, Salminen put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 3 hits in 6 at-bats with 4 runs and 8 RBIs. "I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Salminen said.
