Bridgeman Scores Big Ten Best Hurler Honors Tuesday, June 7th, 2022 This past season was outstanding for Jamie Bridgeman. The Baylor mound star sizzled with a 6-1 record and captured the prestigious 2022 Big Ten Pitcher of the Year Award. The Bears hurler posted a 2.34 ERA in 11 starts with 73 strikeouts and 18 walks in 57.2 innings. Bridgeman limited opposing teams to a .190 batting average. He received 36 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Pat Conklin of the California Golden Bears finished second in voting, while Jared Boshart of the Texas Longhorns finished third.
