Givens Tags 3 HR Against Meteors Sunday, April 10th, 2022 Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Raiders-Meteors game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball. Walton third baseman Jeremy Givens thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Walton to a 14-9 win over De La Salle. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Givens said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Givens was 4-for-5 on the day with 8 runs batted in. Jeremy Givens singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Tim Nelson in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Alex Kearns in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Bob Horton in the 6th, walked in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th. To date, Givens has collected 42 hits for a .284 average. He has posted 26 home runs, scored 38 runs and driven in 60 runs. |
