IMG Academy Celebrates Wild Card Win Thursday, April 14th, 2022 The manager of the IMG Academy Ascenders is reminding the city of IMG Academy to "keep the faith" as the team heads into the playoffs as a wild card team. "We believe in ourselves and we need our fans to believe in us too," said Luis M. Lopez. "We know we can get IMG Academy rocking with a great run in the playoffs." It remains to be seen just how deep the Ascenders will be able to go in the playoffs, but confidence appears to be high. "We've got the team to win a championship, I firmly believe that," said right fielder Josh Meyer. If the team is successful, it would be the 1st National High School League championship in franchise history. |
