Dick Boosts Hit Streak to 25 Games Friday, April 1st, 2022 Chris Dick's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Currituck County. The 14-year-old first baseman extended it once again today, this time bringing it to 25 games with a 2-for-5 performance against the Hidden Valley Mustangs. The Knights took the game, 23-17. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Chris Dick struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Bobby Walton in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th, walked in a run in the 7th and walked in the 8th. This season in 28 games Dick is batting .387 with 10 home runs, 38 RBIs and has scored 32 times. |
