Twins Stumble, Lose to Brewers
|
Milwaukee left fielder Joe Rautio had a 3-RBI game, which proved instrumental to his team beating the Minnesota Twins, 8-4. Rautio picked up 1 single and 1 double in the ballgame. Steve Stoltz recorded his 2nd save for Milwaukee. Minnesota, with the loss, is still a robust 16-7.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Dan Kasper? The Milwaukee shortstop had a run-scoring ground out in the top of the fourth inning to put the Brewers on top, 2-0. For the game, Kasper had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Milwaukee manager Keith Weiser.
