The Los Angeles Angels ran into a buzzsaw at Angel Stadium of Anaheim, as Texas Rangers starter Gabe Garza cut them down to size, 2-0, tossing a 5-hit shutout.

"That's one thing that has never changed in this game -- pitching can control hitting," Rangers manager Ryan Z. Braun told reporters after the game. "Gabe knows exactly what he's doing. He's not going to throw you a good pitch until you make him throw one."
