Brewers Get Past Cincinnati for 4-3 Win
|
The Milwaukee Brewers did just enough to sneak past the Cincinnati Reds, 4-3, at Miller Park. Milwaukee pitcher Jamie Sweigart, in particular, had a standout performance. With the victory, the Brewers upped their record to 82-64.
Jeff Beakes was the walk-off hero for Milwaukee. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Brewers first baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"I like our moxie," said Brewers manager Wascar Serrano.
