Kalinski Lays Hammer Down in 4-3 Win
The Chicago Cubs locked up a win at Wrigley Field, knocking off the Washington Nationals, 4-3. On the mound for Chicago was right-hander Andy Kalinski. He played a major role in the triumph. Al Quintana recorded the save, making him 40 for 49. The win for the Cubs lifted their record to 80-63.

Kalinski allowed 1 run on 1 hit over 8 innings for the Cubs. He walked no one. With the win, he is 14-5 with an ERA of 3.34.

"Andy was really on it," said Chicago manager Don Seeker. "He's got a feel for playing with the hitter front-to-back, side-to-side."
