Houston Gets 8-3 Win Against Tigers
|
Houston Astros starter Micah Gaff was in fine form against the Detroit Tigers at Minute Maid Park, leading his team to a win, 8-3. The Astros' win now puts them at 65-77.
The Astros got an important contribution from shortstop Jon Burton, who in the bottom of the sixth punched a 1-2 splitter into left for a grand slam home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Astros ahead, 8-3.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Gaff.
