Orioles Tagged with 5-0 Loss
|
Tim Ward was nothing short of phenomenal for the Arizona Diamondbacks. The 25-year-old right-hander was a big reason his team beat the Baltimore Orioles, 5-0. Arizona currently is in last place in the National League West Division at 57-78.
Jose Meza contributed to the Arizona win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the third baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"Tim did what Tim does," said Arizona manager Chris Diamondbacks.
