Rays Get Past Houston for 5-4 Win
Tropicana Field was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Tampa Bay Rays and Houston Astros.

The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Houston Astros, 5-4. Doing his part was center fielder Josh Porath, who was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2. Reliever Hector Diaz picked up the win. His record improves to 8-1. Sean Little took the loss.

Eric Barr was the walk-off hero for Tampa Bay. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Rays center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"This place was jumping at the end," Barr said.

Houston's current losing streak is now 4 games.
