Russell Lays Hammer Down in 3-1 Win
Minnesota Twins starter Mike Russell turned in an exceptional performance against the Cleveland Indians at Target Field, resulting in a Minnesota win, 3-1. Amari Burg picked up the save for Minnesota, his 34th of the year. The wins continue to add up for Minnesota, with the latest making it 7 in a row.

Russell ran roughshod over the Cleveland lineup. The left-hander allowed just 3 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 12. With the victory, he goes to 9-3 on the season.

"As well as we've been playing, I think we can play even better," said Minnesota manager Joshua Hester.
