Orioles Score Late to Nip Rangers, 6-5
|
The Baltimore Orioles and Texas Rangers obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.
Baltimore starter Jabari Sykes pitched well against the Texas Rangers at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The right-hander led his team to a win, 6-5. Baltimore is now 41-41, Texas 38-47.
The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Baltimore. That's when Zach Fagundes hit a bases-clearing double off 31-year old right-handed pitcher Steve Adams to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
Said Baltimore manager Dan Fiorito: "At the end of the day, these guys have to perform between the lines, and I think they did."
