With designated hitter Josh Murray leading the charge, the Houston Astros got a road win over the Detroit Tigers, 7-2, in Game 2 of the Wild Card Game today. Murray went 1 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks, while scoring 3 times at Comerica Park to help Houston force a 1-1 tie in the best-of-3 series.

Houston relied on the hitting of Josh Porath to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Astros on top, 3-2. For the game, Porath had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Feels good to get the job done," Porath said after the game.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Comerica Park in Detroit.
