Fireflies Cruise to Round 2 with Sweep
With a 9-6 victory at Whitaker Bank Ballpark, the Columbia Fireflies have completed a sweep of the Lexington Legends in the Round 1.

"On to the Round 2 and feeling good," said Josh Brown. "I don't think our guys expected a sweep, but we'll certainly take it and rest up a bit."

For the series, Brown hit .455 and won series MVP honors. He had 0 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The Columbia Fireflies don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Delmarva Shorebirds - West Virginia Power series. That series is tied at 1 game each. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
