In a seemingly effortless performance, Josh Bush of the Oudtshoorn Flying Squirrels shot down the Brits Lightning, 9-0, on 6 hits.

"Josh was just locating so well and using his pitches," Oudtshoorn manager Tyler Vaughn said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."

Bush recorded 6 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing.

"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Brits manager Daichi Mizuguchi said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."

So far this season, Bush has logged a 10-4 record with a 3.82 ERA. He has started 19 games, hurled 113 innings and registered 79 strikeouts and 27 walks.
