Texas Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
In a tight contest at Globe Life Field, the Texas Rangers edged the New York Yankees by the score of 9-8. Texas right fielder Tristan Atkinson, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Texas reliever Omar Amparo was the winner. His record is now 2-3. Phil Hall took the loss. Texas is in third place in the American League West Division with a record of 25-29.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Atkinson hit a forkball from Phil Hall for a solo home run. The Rangers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Atkinson said.
