Pollard Bangs Out 5 Base Hits
The Great Falls Voyagers stopped the Rocky Mountain Vibes by a score of 9-2 at Centene Stadium, with the lion's share of the credit going to third baseman Ted Pollard. The 20-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Pollard said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

Pollard did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Vibes.

"Not much that I can say," offered Rocky Mountain manager Jordan Parraz. "He just hammered the heck out of us."

Ted Pollard hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit a three-run triple in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
