A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees.

The Toronto Blue Jays picked up a win at Rogers Centre, taking down the New York Yankees, 5-0. Starting pitcher Mario Leal was a big reason why. New York has now lost 7 consecutive games.

The Blue Jays got a big hit from second baseman Jim Searfoss. Facing New York pitcher Mike Brown in the bottom of the sixth, Searfoss pounded a run-scoring triple to right-center. His 3rd triple of the season put the Blue Jays ahead, 2-0.

"When you're losing, the game looks more difficult to play than it is," said New York manager Harry Jacoby.
