Some days you can't win for losing. Just ask Jon Gandara -- he was the King of Swing against the Crosscutters, but his Ironbirds were beaten, 7-6, anyway.

The Aberdeen third baseman had 6 chances against Williamsport and delivered 5 hits in a sensational game.

"Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt great to be hitting like that, but a downer when you look at the scoreboard. 5-for-6 does wonders for your confidence, but it's a shame we couldn't win, too."

Jon Gandara hit an RBI triple in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
