DY-NO-MITE: Perez Blasts 4 Against Astros
An amazing display of power vaulted Johnny Perez and the Los Angeles Angels to victory and into the record books today, as the right fielder hit 4 home runs against the Houston Astros.

Perez was an unstoppable force for the Angels in the 16-3 triumph at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. In the postgame interview, Perez said he started to feel the pressure before his last home run.

"I could feel the anticipation from the crowd, the look in my teammates' eyes," he said. "I was already thrilled, but as I stepped in the box I said, please God, let me hit one more."

His totals on his history-making day were 4 hits in 4 at-bats with 8 RBIs and 4 runs scored.

Johnny Perez hit a three-run home run off Micah Gaff in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Micah Gaff in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Rodrigo Guevara in the 4th and hit a solo-shot off A.J. Feeny in the 6th.
