NWL Names Diamonds Olivares Winner Monday, August 2nd , 2021 Edward Olivares of the Garland Diamonds had a super week and today was voted the Player of the Week by the Northwest League. The 25-year-old right fielder put up a .458 average with a .500 on-base percentage, racking up 11 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 10 runs scored. In his stats this season, Olivares has posted a batting average of .247 with 81 hits in 328 at-bats, 17 home runs and 43 RBIs. He has also scored 63 runs, walked 30 times and compiled a .339 OBP. |
