Cowboys Fizzle in 5-0 Loss to Grain Growers Monday, June 2nd , 2025 Anthony Kay hurled a fine game for the Fargo-Moorhead Grain Growers at Snarlers Ballpark, holding the Great Falls Cowboys to 4 hits in a shutout win. "When he started out, his command wasn't that good, but he's a tough guy," Fargo-Moorhead manager said. "The more pitches he throws, the better his command is." The left-hander had 4 strikeouts and 4 walks in the 5-0 victory. "An outstanding job," Great Falls manager said. "We couldn't get anything going. Every time we got a hit, he got out of the jam. He pitched a terrific game." This season, Kay has accumulated no saves, registered a 1.41 ERA and struck out 53 in 70.1 innings. He also has a 7-0 record in no relief appearances. |
