Zero Hour: Morales Blanks Storm Wednesday, August 17th , 2022 The Tropic Storm met their match today in Virginia Beach hurler Francisco Morales. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 2-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Tropic skipper said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 3-0 victory, Morales whiffed 10 and gave up no walks. Thus far this season, Morales has tossed 112 innings in 23 starts, fanned 97 batters, walked 56 and put up a 4.42 ERA with 8 wins and 9 losses. |
