"My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Screaming Eagles hurler finished with 10 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," San Jose manager said following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was." His record this year is 9-5 in 18 starts and Hand has a 2.23 ERA. |
