Late Rally by Missions Secures 8-6 Win
Due in large part to left fielder Juan Soto, the San Francisco Missions sunk the Mexico City Tigers, 8-6. Soto was 3 for 5 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Takuma Kirishiki, credited with the save, is now 16 for 18 in save opportunities. At 33-40, the Missions claim 5th place in the Continental League Southern.

The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Soto delivered big-time for San Francisco, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Jose Castillo. The game-changing hit put the Missions on top, 7-6.
