Tenney Helps Lefties Defeat Crawfords, 6-2
The Havana Lefties defeated the Pittsburgh Crawfords, 6-2, in Continental League action at El Estadio de Che. Fred Tenney pulled his weight. The 132-year veteran was 4-4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Havana raised its record to 41-31 with the win.

With Havana leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Tenney hit a splitter from Tony Gonsolin for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Lefties ahead, 4-0.
