Rainiers Dump Boston, 3-1, to Win 4th in a Row
|
Seattle pitcher Tyler Glasnow did his part in helping his team defeat the Boston Bees, 3-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. The Rainiers, now 72-57, have won 4 in a row.
The Rainiers got a big at-bat from second baseman Shugo Maki. For the game, Maki was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 15th home run of the season gave Seattle a 2-0 lead.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Seattle manager Sean Cassidy.
