In an excellent mound performance, J.T. Ginn of the Veracruz Red Eagles blanked the San Juan Coquis, 2-0, on a 5-hitter.

"I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game.

In all, the Veracruz hurler rang up 3 strikeouts and 6 walks in the shutout win.

"We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Coquis manager . "Ginn did a good job keeping us guessing."

For the season, Ginn has made no relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 3-2 won-lost mark and a 1.89 ERA. In pitching 47.2 innings, he has totaled 33 strikeouts and 25 walks.
