Monarchs Prevail, as League Championship Series Goes to the Wire
The Kansas City Monarchs and Boston Bees hooked up in a classic League Championship Series that went right down to the wire.

In the end, it's Kansas City heading off to the The National Series, after a 5-1 win at The Bee Hive tonight earned the 4-3 series win.

Outside The Bee Hive, whether they were supporters of Kansas City or Boston, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget.

Brian McCann played the hero for the Monarchs in the series, as his MVP performance included a .440 batting average, with a .444 on-base percentage. He also had 2 home runs, 8 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Kansas City Monarchs will play against the Philadelphia Keystones in the next round. Philadelphia won their series against the San Francisco Missions 4 games to 2. The The National Series is scheduled to begin on October 21st , 2019.
