Adams Fires No-Hitter
Rick Adams of the Leduc Diplomats was the King of the Hill today at Diplomats Stadium.

The Leduc starter dominated the Oceanside Diamond Kings, giving up zero hits in his 3-0 victory.

"The toughest part was the last couple of innings," Adams recounted after the game. "You know you have a no-hitter going, and so does everybody in the ballpark. That was the hard part, keeping focused and concentrating while your heart is pounding."

Adams recorded 10 strikeouts and 2 walks in the game.

Up to now Adams has compiled an ERA of 2.52 with a 5-5 mark over 13 starts. He has 96 strikeouts in 93 innings and has held opponents to a .170 batting average.
